The Gift-Shopping Corner Allen Premium Outlets Built This Year

Since January, Allen Premium Outlets on West Stacy Road has added a toy store, a collectibles shop, an official Dallas Cowboys store, and a coffee counter inside a handbag boutique. Taken together, the 2026 openings look a lot like a holiday shopping list. The center put most of that list in place between March and early October. Two of the best-known names still marked as coming are unlikely to help with this year's gifts, and as of late October the center had not posted its holiday hours.

For anyone who last walked the center during the 2025 holidays, this is what has changed and what is still missing.

The Year in Openings, in Order

Community Impact has tracked the changes store by store. Here they are in the order they happened:

Date Store Suite What changed
Jan. 5 JD Sports and Rawlings — Opened
March 21 Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop — Opened
Late April All Star Elite — Closed
Aug. 14 Timberland Ste. 428 Opened
Sept. 3 Psycho Bunny Ste. 174 Opened
Sept. 26 Toys "R" Us Ste. 160 Opened
Oct. 3 Collector's Edition Ste. 310 Opened
Oct. 8 The Coach Coffee Shop Ste. 190 Opened inside Coach
Early December Hot Topic — Construction expected to wrap up
2027 Pandora Ste. 112 Opening planned

The pace picked up in the fall. Five of these openings came between mid-August and early October, and four of those came in about five weeks, from Sept. 3 to Oct. 8. Most of what is new at the center arrived in the weeks just before this holiday season.

A Fan-and-Collector Cluster Formed Around Suite 310

The most useful change for holiday shoppers is where two of the stores ended up. The Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop opened March 21, as Community Impact reported. In October, Collector's Edition opened right next door in Suite 310. It sells sports memorabilia, Funko Pop figures, jerseys, games and trading cards.

So team gear and collectibles now sit side by side. Anyone shopping for a sports fan can cover a jersey, a piece of memorabilia and a pack of trading cards without crossing the center.

Toys "R" Us opened Sept. 26 in Suite 160. Community Impact's roundup, citing the store's website, lists action figures, books, art supplies, dolls, stuffed animals, puzzles, sidewalk chalk and board games. The store appears on the center's official directory.

A toy store, a collectibles shop and a team store all opened at one outlet center within about seven months. That gives the property a gift-buying anchor it didn't have last November.

The Apparel Additions Lean Toward Cold Weather and Gifting

The two clothing openings fit the same pattern. Timberland opened Aug. 14 in Suite 428, next to Bath & Body Works. According to a news release cited by Community Impact, it carries shoes, clothing and outdoor gear for men, women and children.

Psycho Bunny followed on Sept. 3 in Suite 174, with apparel for men, women and children. Its accessories include hats, bags, wallets and socks, the kind of smaller items that end up in gift bags and stockings.

Both stores are listed on the center's current directory, along with Collector's Edition.

The New Place to Sit Down Is Inside Coach

The one new food option at the center in 2026 is in an unusual place. The Coach Coffee Shop opened Oct. 8 inside the Coach store in Suite 190. According to Community Impact, the menu includes coffee, matcha, pastries, and strawberry or lavender lemonade. Local Profile's coverage of the opening also mentions espresso drinks.

It is a coffee counter, not a restaurant, so it won't stand in for a meal. It is the one new place inside the center this year to stop for a drink. For a sit-down dinner after shopping, the nearest new option is a short drive away. The Melting Pot opened Aug. 10 at 935 Watters Creek Blvd. N., according to Community Impact.

The Two Biggest "Coming" Names Run on a Later Clock

The center's directory currently lists Hot Topic under "Coming Soon." In July, Community Impact reported that construction was expected to begin in September and wrap up in early December.

That timeline covers the build-out only. No opening date has been announced, so even on schedule, the earliest the store could open is well into the holiday season. Anyone planning to buy a specific item there should treat it as uncertain for this year.

Pandora is further out. On Oct. 23, Community Impact reported that the jewelry brand will take a 1,903-square-foot space in Suite 112, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, with an opening planned for 2027. Charm bracelets and engraved pieces are classic holiday gifts, and they won't be sold at this location until next year.

Not every change this year was an addition. All Star Elite closed its store at the center in late April.

The Holiday Calendar Is the Last Piece Still Missing

As of late October, the center's hours page showed only the regular schedule. That is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The posted calendar ran only through Sunday, Nov. 1, with nothing yet for Thanksgiving or Black Friday 2026. The center's news and events page had no 2026 Santa visit, tree lighting or gift card promotion as of the same week.

Visit Allen's listing for the center's 3rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting put the 2025 event on Nov. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m., with Santa, photos and family activities. Three straight years makes it a tradition. A 2026 date has not been published, so last year's late-November evening is the only guide until the center announces one.

Before the First Holiday Trip

  1. Check the hours page the week of your visit. Regular hours still apply until special holiday hours are posted, and Sunday hours run 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  2. Start at Suite 310 for fan and collector gifts. The Cowboys Pro Shop and Collector's Edition are next door to each other.
  3. Plan around Toys "R" Us in Suite 160 for kids' gifts. It is the only dedicated toy store among this year's openings.
  4. Check the directory before going for Hot Topic. It is listed as "Coming Soon" with no opening date announced.
  5. Shop elsewhere for Pandora this season. The Allen store is planned for 2027.
  6. Watch the center's events page for a tree lighting date. Last year's ran Nov. 20.

If you're weighing how retail activity along Stacy Road fits into a move within Allen or across Collin County, Ritz Group is glad to walk through it with you over coffee, whether that's at the counter inside Coach or wherever is most convenient for you.
